TradeKing's mission is to reach self-directed equity investors and options traders who use online brokers to manage their portfolios. Core Duties and Responsibilities:

* Maintain and extend TradeKing's social networking platform
* Work with designer to implement web UI with CSS and JavaScript
* Offer new technologies or processes to increase usability/functionality

Qualifications and Requirements:

* At least one year of programming and deploying Ruby on Rails applications
* Must be passionate about Ruby on rails
* 3+ years of programming with another web language, such as PHP, Java, ASP or ColdFusion
* Attention to detail

Strong knowledge of one or more of the following:

* MySQL
* CSS and Ajax
* Nginx and memcached
